Do I have to use WordPress to use Digi Traffic Accelerator

Nope – DTA is a desktop app for Windows. It runs on your own computer, so you don’t need to worry about shared hosting memory or external services.

Does that mean I’ll need a high-end computer to run it?

Absolutely not! We’ve spent a lot of time optimising it so it’ll work with a normal home PC.

Do I need to use external services like captcha-breakers or proxies?

Normal users who want to build 1000 links or so per day won’t need proxies, and if you like you can break the captchas manually (though I’ve got to be honest, not sure why you would… DTA comes with integration for DeCaptcher, Bypass Captcha and DeathByCaptcha, so if you use any of these services you can just plug in your account details and post away.) Proxies are recommended for power-users who are going to be hammering several URLs per day.

Am I going to have to confirm all the accounts? That sounds like a lot of work.

It would be, but DTA will do it all for you automatically.

Is there a limit to how many times I can use the software?

No, you can use it as many times as you like.

How can you be sure I’ll get over 500 backlinks?

We’ve built in over 1000 sites into DTA’s database. Let’s be honest, there will be some failures during the confirmation and posting processes, but that’s why we’ve added such a huge pool – so you’ll definitely get 500, and you might get a lot more.

So it’s expensive?

Why is there a monthly subscription?

The monthly subscription base model is necessary as it will allow Andy Fletcher and his team to keep it up to date with working sites lists where all the one time fee tools eventually have to throw in the towel and disappoint their users. To keep up to date with the high PR sites, this is quite a big chunk of work. The long tail type of sites will require work, mainly in the sense that they will have to find new ones if they don’t work. But the main work in on the high PR ones. And the team working on this needs to get paid to do that or they won’t be able to and the product would fail in few months – it happened to a lot of products before.

Will there be a fixed number on social bookmarking websites where the software submits or will it grow over time?

Currently, as of 10/31/2011, 500+ social bookmarking websites are supported for submission. The database of sites will grow over time.

Can I run Digi Traffic Accelerator on my MAC and/or Linux computer?

Digi Traffic Accelerator is WINDOWS software and it will run on Windows. Currently, MAC is not supported, however, Digi Traffic Accelerator worked without problems during the developer tests on VMWare (MAC) and KVM (Linux). You may also try Parallels 7 (MAC).
